Chemistry students have the opportunitie to learn more about a particular profession and get involved by joining one of our department student organizations.
Crime and Chemistry Club (Chemistry and Forensic Science majors) - provides students the opportunity to learn more about a chemistry and forensic science career. The club works on community service opportunities related to chemistry. Examples of profesional service provided by the club recently: 1) making liquid nitroge ice-cream for homecomming 2) work with boyscouts to earn a chemistry badge 3) travel to Oak Ridge National Laboratory and 4) Demonstrations and science fair judging at Model Laboratory School.
