Organic Chemist position open!
The Chemistry Department at Eastern Kentucky University seeks applicants for a tenure track position in organic chemistry and at the Assistant Professor level with appointment to begin August 15, 2023. Teaching responsibilities for the candidate will include introductory and upper division disciplinary courses to fulfill ACS degree requirements in their discipline. Candidates for this position must have a Ph.D. degree in chemistry or a closely related field and be committed to excellence in teaching, service, and scholarly activity. Preference will be given to candidates with post-doctoral and teaching experience. Research expectations include the establishment of an independent research program commensurate with a masters-level institution. Candidates with research plans that can complement existing strengths of the department are preferred. Start-up funds are available.
