New classes for the Spring 2019!

This Spring we will be offereing two new courses, CHE 501 (Toxological Chemistry) and CHE 501 (Blood Splatter analysis). Please read the course desciptions below for more information: 

CHE 501 (3 credits) - This class will study the chemistry and basic toxicological principles of drugs and toxic agents and their mechanism of action in use, misuse, and abuse. Pre re-quisities are CHE 112 and CHE 362.

CHE 501L (1 credit) - Blood spatter analysis is a multidisciplinary science involving the study of bloodstain patterns that criminologists use to reconstruct the events of a suspected crime. Analysts examine subtle factors such as the placement, shape and volume of blood to determine the weapon and amount of force used in an attack. This course is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of blood splatter analysis. Pre-requisite is CHE 362L.
